Anna
This is Anna, a full-sculpt mini-baby. She is made out of ProSculpt, a professional polymer clay and is about 3 1/2" long. Her hair has been created using fine, hand-dyed mohair, baked onto her scalp a few hairs at a time. Her tiny nails and lips are painted with a subtle gloss for realism. Her body and all of her little creases have been shaded and highlighted with heat-set paints and water-mixable oils for a realistic baby glow.
The idea for Anna's position came from the habit my little new grandson had of lying on his tummy with his little behind in the air and his feet crossed under him. I tried to capture that pose from watching him sleep and from the many many photographs that his father took of him lying that way.
